Montree, you have spent over twenty four years in the construction business, fourteen as head of your own company. Tell us about EkCa Thai. I decided to start EkCa Thai in Bangkok having acquired a range of experience and contacts in the construction industry. We started to build houses, office buildings, high rises, condos, progressively developing into the company we are today with various current high profile contracts including government and University buildings. What is the company philosophy behind EkCa Thai? Well, I like a challenge. I steer EkCa Thai towards challenging or breakthrough projects because we pride ourselves in being able to solve difficult problems and to meet the highest client expectations. Where did the challenges lie in The Lotus Terraces? The Lotus Terraces is a new experience for us because we are building the development for an international market with an international team. This raises issues of communication, of course, and the drive to create something that exceeds established standards on the world stage. How has it been working with such a diverse group? Its been a rewarding experience because there has been a great understanding amongst the group regular discussions, listening, sharing.
